This bathroom was created earlier this year. Probably one of the hardest bathrooms we have ever created due to accessing materials/fittings because of Covid. Also how we had to work within the property with social distancing from the clients and finally the third lockdown.

 We used Quality Materials

The materials for this bathroom included gold finish fittings which required a twelve week ordering window, however some of the fittings arrived weeks after that.

In the present market chrome is the easiest finish to furnish taps, showers and shower screen frames as there are several shades of gold, but on top of this not all manufactures offer a gold finish….so we had to be creative. For example the recessed Hib mirrored cabinet above the basin has been fabricated with a gold foil around the framing and those parts we could not get in gold we opted for white.

How to create space & light

This room before was very dark, cramped, damp with lots of box sections, instead we straightened up the walls using false studs to make a cleaner, sleeker finish. This also helps with using these large polished tiles.

A heated tiled floor means any residual dampness in the room is resolved by keeping the air temperature higher plus giving that opulent feeling of warm feet.

Some of our greatest achievements have been in the hardest of times and I can’t think of a time when it felt the elements where so against us…..
but a beautiful finish and a happy client….what more could we ask for.
