From experience, once the doors and worktops have been removed the carcasses have also degraded. The doors are around 80% of a cabinets cost, so the difference in replacing it all, against just parts is harder to justify. If you are selling your home with new workstops and doors, it won't be seen as a new kitchen and this could be seen as a wasted return. We have solutions which will make full replacements more beneficial.
For a kitchen installation, including electrics, lighting, tiling, up to decoration, it will take approx three weeks. We endeavour to keep the kitchen sink, oven and washer available for as long as we can, before we swap to the new fittings. On bathrooms a full installation can be two weeks, and three weeks for larger more complex rooms.
Yes, not only do I enjoy the installation stage, but it also allows me to ensure its done correctly. Every appliance, cabinet and bathroom suite needs inspecting before installation. My hands on approach with our team is as important to me as to the client.
We ask for a 20% deposit, 50% of the remainder for works to commence, the remainder on completion unless a long time scale requires some part payments. Its important that clients don’t feel we have all their money and they have nothing to show for it. It's about building confidence with the client.
Yes, we will project manage every trade, all deliveries and give you one point of contact. We will unlock, lockup and even feed the cat if required. After a project has been signed off, we think the client should be able to carry on without the worry that they will need to be home to answer questions every two minutes.
Yes, we are lucky to have a long list of clients happy to endorse what we do. I ask all new clients to speak to our past clients, so they gain confidence in what we are promising. I find it hard to understand how some people pay deposits, sign off quotes, without checking who is coming to their house and how good they are.
The areas we cover include Arborfield, Wokingham, Camberley, Crowthorne, Finchampstead, Swallowfield, Riseley, Grazeley, Hartley Wintney, Hook, Ascot, Sunningdale, Chobham, Windsor and Bracknell.
Yes, we can supply only the kitchen cabinets and appliances for self installation or for another trade two install. We will still provide the design process, drawings and also electrical and plumbing requirements for that space. This is ideal for self build, architects and builders.
We have a full range of samples we can bring to you. By listening to your requirements, we can limit what you need to see to make decisions less complicated. We also use past clients to show kitchens/bathrooms when required. The use of technology also helps in understanding a product. Bathroom fittings are a little more complicated as there are so many. We install a wide range of designs and can supply brochures and links via websites.
